To demonstrate creative and effective talent attraction, SA Brain has been successful in creating a stable, consistently recruited team through its business by increasing talent streams, improving employer brand and providing the training and support needed to its management popular. SA Brain’s approach is fully collaborative involving its food and pub management teams, area managers, support centre teams along with its external partners across the community including Cardiff commitment, local pupils and teachers, prison support staff, Clink Charity and Defence Wales.
This award recognises creative and effective talent attraction, retention and management strategies, demonstrating how the organisation has implemented, or is working towards, an organisation-wide talent pipeline that takes into account current and future needs.
The judges were looking for evidence of:
• wide collaboration on talent management strategies in areas such as recruitment, succession planning, skills and competence building, and managing performance;
• how talent management activity has benefited the business, met business objectives, supported organisational activity, and impacted on meeting future business objectives;
• development of a strong and attractive employer brand.
